Some stock cabinet companies offer wood hoods. Wood hoods are a lovely way to add a beautiful look and dimension to your kitchen without the cost of a custom hood.

Sizes, styles, and finishes may be limited, but don’t let this stop you from looking at your options.

Fabuwood is one of the wonderful stock cabinet lines that we offer to our clients. They provide quality cabinetry at an excellent value. Fabuwood markets its products through its cabinet partners, not to clients directly. You can visit their website to find a dealer near you.

Are Fabuwood hoods available in both painted and stained finishes?

Yes. Fabuwood hoods are available in both painted and stained finishes. These finishes match their Fabuwood cabinets.

We recommend you speak with your kitchen designer to determine the style and finish you’d like for your new kitchen.

What Fabuwood finishes are available?

Below is a chart of the Fabuwood hood finishes.  Be aware that Fabuwood works to stay on trend, so check with your designer that these finishes are currently available.

Are Fabuwood hoods reasonably priced?

We feel that Fabuwood hoods are very reasonably priced. Depending on the style, size, and finish you choose, these hoods range from approximately $2,000-$4,000 plus.

Will I need a blower insert for my new wood hood?

Yes, you will need to purchase a blower insert for your wood hood. Fabuwood offers a few blower insert options for purchase.

When budgeting for your kitchen cabinets, you should consider the cost of the blower insert, as well as any additional labor, to install it.

Your kitchen designer will happily explain what wood hood options are available for your space. They will also review what size blower insert would be needed for the hood that you choose.

What if Fabuwood does not have the style or finish wood hood I want?

If you don’t find a Fabuwood hood you like, your designer will be happy to show you the hoods available with our other semi-custom cabinet lines. A John Dean Custom hood might also be an option. A semi-custom or custom hood will be more expensive, but you can be assured you’ll get exactly the look and finish you want.

Will Fabuwood be coming out with new wood hoods?

One of the things we love about Fabuwood is that they listen to their dealers. Fabuwood asks for our input; they want to know what our clients are asking for that is not a part of their current offering.

This is very important to us, and to our clients, which is part of the reason Fabuwood now sells wood hoods. We are thrilled!
