In South Glastonbury, CT, we teamed up with Abby Kilgore from The Inspired Kitchen to create a kitchen that perfectly mixes elegance with everyday use. Abby is known for her incredible kitchen and bath designs, and she really helped make this space special.

For the cabinets, we went with Dean Custom inset cabinetry that’s both timeless and neat. The flat panel doors have a simple frame and rounded edges, giving the kitchen a clean and modern feel.

The island stands out with a raised panel design and a traditional edge, painted in a striking black with a distressed finish for extra flair. The main cabinets are in a fresh Chantilly Lace white, which makes the space feel bright and welcoming.

We also added some warmth with a cherry finish on the hood and pantry, detailed with a black glaze to bring depth. The high ceilings allowed us to include elegant crown molding, adding a touch of grandeur.

Abby picked out all the details, including the knobs and countertops, making sure everything worked together perfectly. We chose a Bosch dishwasher that fits neatly under the counter and a sleek under-mount sink.

A really nice feature is the seeded glass panels in the upper cabinets, which add a sophisticated and open feel to the kitchen.

This project is a great blend of modern style and classic charm, making it a true highlight of the home.
