Dean Cabinetry is located at 25 West Street, Bolton, CT 06043. We are about 10 minutes east of Hartford, off Route 384. Bolton is a small, suburban town, in a beautiful, country setting and a stone’s throw away from many amazing places. How far is the drive to Dean Cabinetry?

No matter where you are driving from in Connecticut, it’s worth the drive to Dean Cabinetry. There’s plenty to do in and around our local area. From the furthest point of the CT/NY line, a drive to Dean Cabinetry is about 1 hour and 40 minutes.

Are there any good places to eat near Dean Cabinetry?

Yes, there are some great places to eat nearby; you might as well make a day of it.

We have a few local eateries that will wet your whistle and fill your belly! 

What are our favorite places to eat?

  • Georgina’s offers excellent Italian cuisine, large portions, and an outdoor patio.
  • Shady Glen is an American treasure. Visiting this fun locale takes you back to 1948; it hasn’t changed a bit, and is known for its famous “winged, crispy cheeseburger & homemade ice cream”.
  • Highland Park Market is a lovely hometown market, great for all your grocery needs. It is great for picking up sandwiches, freshly prepared foods, and packing a picnic lunch for the park!
  • Parkside Pizza…well what else do you need to know? Oh yes, they serve ice cream too!

Are any good coffee shops nearby?

Right off of 384, you’ll find a wonderful little coffee shop on Main street in Manchester, called Silk City Coffee. Whether you stop by on the way or have some time to kill…do not overlook the raspberry oat bar, it’s a slice of heaven and probably the most popular treat on display!

Are there any sights to see if I visit Dean Cabinetry and make a day of it?

There are plenty of great places to visit for the day, or just for a couple of hours in our local area, ranging from beautiful parks for hiking to museums, farms, breweries, and more!

What local parks are nearby?

  • Riverfront Park in Glastonbury is a beautiful park along the Connecticut River and worth a visit. Don’t forget Rover, for miles of trails and a paved sidewalk with a lovely fountain and playground. You can also launch your boat and go fishing if you prefer. 
  • Gay City State Park in Bolton offers hiking, swimming, and rich history of extinct mill town ruins.

Any local Breweries and Wineries?

  • Hops on the Hill Brewery in South Glastonbury serves “farm-to-glass” beer, and local food trucks are scheduled for weekly outdoor events. You’ll want to call your friends and tell them to meet you there!
  • Crystal Ridge Winery in South Glastonbury has beautiful, sweeping views of Hartford, food trucks, events, live music, comedy, and of course, wine…what more do you need?
  • Cassidy Hill Vineyard in Coventry; enjoy the quiet tranquility of this lovely vineyard with a variety of wines to taste and take home! Live music coming soon.

  • Belltown Hill Orchards in South Glastonbury has a Farmer’s Market, a bakery & of course, “pick your own fresh fruits”. They grow over 24 varieties of apples, along with blueberries, sweet cherries, and pumpkins, when in season.
  • Killam and Bassette Farmstead in Glastonbury has loads of farm-fresh goodies, local SoG Coffee, live music, hay rides, a jam-tasting bar, face painting, kids activities, a maker’s market, live animals, & much more!
  • Riverview Farms & Robb’s Ice Cream Shoppe in Glastonbury has fresh homemade ice cream, brown eggs, seasonal hay rides, Christmas trees, and the Polar Express…do you hear the jingle bells?
