When this homeowner first moved into her home, she knew it was destined to be the gathering place for family and friends. Over the years, they tackled renovation after renovation to make room for their growing crew—and finally, it was the kitchen’s turn to shine. As the go-to host for every holiday and the proud chef of the family, she needed a kitchen that could keep up with her passion for entertaining.
The original space? Closed off, outdated, and definitely not holiday-hosting material. That’s when Dean Cabinetry stepped in to open up the possibilities—literally. With a little encouragement from her daughter and a clear vision in mind, she made the bold move to remove the wall between the kitchen and dining room. The transformation was instant: light poured in, countertops stretched out, and the entire space began to breathe.
We relocated the GE double oven and Bosch refrigerator to improve function and flow, while keeping everything seamlessly integrated. At the heart of the room now sits a beautiful new island with plenty of seating—a perfect perch for chatting with guests or sipping coffee while cookies bake in the oven. Above the cooktop, a stunning wood hood and insert add a warm, glowing focal point.
The demo and renovation work were skillfully handled by Brian Boire of Enterprise Renovations, whose attention to detail and savvy suggestions helped shape the final look. Our rockstar installers, Keaton and Shawn, earned high praise from this family for their knowledge and expertise.
For cabinetry, they chose the warm, timeless charm of Massachusett Design’s frameless Jacksonville style in Cherry with a Caramel finish. It’s a look that feels both classic and inviting. The finishing touches? The homeowner also met with two lovely ladies from Torco East Windsor, who helped her choose stylish hardware and lighting that brought the whole look together.
Now, their kitchen is everything they dreamed of and more: open, inviting, and ready for a crowd. With its thoughtful layout, rich finishes, and welcoming vibe, it’s truly become the heart of their home.
