Featuring Kith Kitchens Cottage two-tiered frameless cabinets in soft alabaster, quartz countertops, and a two-toned white subway tile backsplash, the space balances classic charm with modern practicality. The naval-finished island anchors the room, offering seating, prep space, and smart storage solutions including cutlery inserts, utensil organizers, and a double-stacked pantry. Thoughtful touches like champagne bronze hardware, matching faucet, and accent lighting complete the look, making this kitchen perfect for family meals, entertaining, and creating lasting memories.

The Kitchen Story

Our next project highlights a family with a growing household, a playful dog, and a home that was bursting at the seams. The homeowners knew it was time for a change—a bigger space that could grow with them. When they stumbled upon their dream home, they saw its potential. Although it was nearly perfect, it needed a bit of love to truly make it their own.

The kitchen, while functional, didn’t quite fit the open floor plan vision they had in mind. The original wrap-around peninsula disrupted the flow and would make it difficult to keep an eye on their little ones. They also knew they needed more — a space where the family could gather daily, with an island at the heart of it all, perfect for meals and conversations together.

With a clear vision in mind, we jumped in to design a kitchen that would be the centerpiece of their new home. The homeowners chose two-tiered, frameless Kith Kitchens Cottage cabinets. The soft alabaster painted finish adds just the right touch of warmth and brightness. As beautiful as this kitchen is, it was also equally important to ensure the storage and organization options maximized each and every inch of space. Whether it’s the cutlery inserts in the top drawers of the island, a utensil insert by the range, or vertical partitions in a base cabinet for tray organization, each detail is intentionally planned and considered.

The stunning quartz countertops and two-toned white subway tile backsplash from Genrose Stone & Tile brought a classic charm to the space.  A key design challenge was to ensure there was pantry space. We got creative and reconfigured the cabinets, giving them a spacious double-stacked pantry, ideal for keeping everything neat and within reach.

To add a pop of color, the homeowners opted for a deep Naval finish on the island. For convenience, pull-outs and deep drawers were included, making it easy to access pots and pans while prepping meals. To tie the full aesthetic together, champagne bronze pulls, a matching kitchen faucet, and elegant accent lighting brought a sophisticated flair to the space.

This renovation transformed their new house into a home—a place where the family can grow, play, and make memories for years to come.
