When these clients set out to build their forever home in Wethersfield, CT, they knew the kitchen would be the heart of it all. After three years of careful planning and construction, they finally moved in—newly married and excited to start this chapter together.
They envisioned a modern, clean, and functional kitchen that would flow with the cabinetry throughout their home. This included the master bath, laundry room, vanities, and a finished basement bar.
They came to Dean Cabinetry with big ideas, a desire for high design without breaking the bank, and a need for guidance through the many decisions ahead.
The design process was collaborative from the start. Working alongside their contractor, CCC Development LLC, who was communicative and transparent throughout, the Dean Cabinetry team brought clarity and direction to what could have been an overwhelming experience.
From John’s thoughtful input to Kevin’s attention to detail to Shawn’s installation, the clients appreciated the consistent support at every step. They especially valued working with Leah, and the ease of exploring cabinet options using our website’s sample galleries, blog articles, and cost estimator tools.
The kitchen came to life with Fabuwood’s Illume line. The wall cabinets have a Catalina Muratti finish and the base and island cabinets have a Bianco Matte finish. These create a rich contrast that feels both timeless and modern. The bold quartz, waterfall countertops from Genrose Stone + Tile ground the space. Everything ties together beautifully, supported by a full suite of Samsung’s black stainless appliances for a consistent, streamlined look: refrigerator, microwave combination wall oven, cooktop, hood and more!
The rest of the home features complementary tones and styles: vanities in Fabuwood’s Luna Kona and Galaxy Horizon, and a sleek basement bar in Galaxy Indigo.
This build wasn’t just about cabinets—it was about creating a space that felt like home from day one. The couple loves how cohesive the design feels across rooms, from the bright and inviting kitchen to the thoughtfully styled bathrooms and laundry. Their vision came to life in a home that’s equally functional and effortlessly stylish.
