In this raised ranch, the kitchen has become a sacred space where life’s simple pleasures unfold. Our next project takes us to Rocky Hill, CT, where our clients now relish waking up to quiet mornings in their new kitchen. The only sound is the soft clink of a spoon stirring morning coffee, setting the stage for a quick game of Wordle. It’s their favorite time of day!
Whether it’s the peaceful solitude of a morning coffee or the lively chatter of family catching up while prepping dinner, this kitchen is where connections are made. But it wasn’t always this way. The original 1980s kitchen was cramped, with a separate dining room that left our clients struggling to make the most of their space.
That’s when they turned to Mark Ruggerio from DIFY Innovations . With his creative solutions, Mark transformed their kitchen by knocking down walls and adding a larger window, flooding the room with natural light and opening it up to new possibilities. The centerpiece of the new design? An extra-large island that comfortably seats six —perfect for gathering the family together for those moments that truly matter.
This kitchen has all the bells and whistles: a new beverage center, a cozy coffee corner, and plenty of kitchen organizational essentials, including utensil trays, a pull-out pantry, a corner super Susan, and spice drawers. One of our favorite features of this kitchen is the amount of counter space these clients have for prep-work and entertaining! What more could you ask for?
The homeowners fell in love with the Fabuwood Galaxy framed cabinets. Featuring Fabuwood’s Horizon light gray stain, these beautiful cabinets are perfectly paired with Salinas White granite countertops from Image Stone Center . Brushed silver accents, from the cabinet hardware to the Moen faucet, add a touch of shine. The walls, painted in Sherwin Williams Essential Gray, completes the look.
Partnering with Mark was a breeze, and the result is a kitchen that’s not just functional but a space where memories are made, one cup of coffee at a time.
