A Fresh Start
When this client was tired of noisy, bustling West Hartford, she decided that moving to quiet Bolton, CT was just what she needed. While the setting felt right, the kitchen didn’t—it was outdated, inefficient, and no longer suited the way she lived.
Since she was planning for her future, the kitchen renovation quickly became a top priority. Wanting to work with a trusted local company (and steering clear of big-box options), she chose Dean Cabinetry. In partnership with Riverbend Renovations Company, our team collaborated closely with the client to create a kitchen that feels both elevated and effortless for everyday life.
Along the way, she especially appreciated working with Carson, her contractor from Riverbend, describing him as relaxed, easygoing, and a pleasure to work with—the kind of partnership that makes even a major renovation feel manageable.
A Personal Design
From the very beginning, the client knew she needed the right guide—and as she put it, she “needed someone like Cara.” Working with Cara, Dean Cabinetry Client Manager, she felt supported every step of the way. Cara was consistently accessible, quick to respond, and deeply invested in bringing the client’s vision to life. She helped refine the layout, balance form and function, and advocate for details that truly mattered.
The client chose Designer’s Choice frameless cabinetry with the Rockledge door style to bring a clean, modern look to the kitchen. The perimeter cabinets in White Maple Wash create a bright and classic feel, while the island in Steel Blue adds a bold pop of color. When searching for countertops, a unique Quartzite imported from Brazil immediately stood out to the client, tying the island and cabinets together beautifully.
One of the client’s favorite details? A cleverly designed closet tucked beside the refrigerator. It’s perfectly sized to store her vacuum and everyday essentials while blending seamlessly into the cabinetry. It’s a simple solution that showcases how thoughtful design can quietly transform daily life.
A Kitchen to Love
The finished kitchen is welcoming, organized, and unmistakably personal. It reflects the client’s lifestyle, her taste, and her long-term vision for her home—proof that with the right team, anything is possible.
As she shared in her 5 star Google Review:
“The old kitchen needed to go! Dean Cabinetry helped from start to finish. I highly recommend!”
