A Coventry CT Kitchen Finds New Life
When our clients closed on their primary residence in Coventry, CT, in late 2024, they knew they had found their forever home—but the kitchen was a different story. Described as “sad” and featuring original 1968 cabinetry, the space was a relic of the past that didn’t match the couple’s vision.
Partnering with a Local Expert
After a disappointing experience elsewhere where their needs weren’t being heard, they turned to Dean Cabinetry. They were looking for a local partner who valued small-business craftsmanship and offered the reliability of a dedicated team rather than the impersonal feel of a big-box store.
Collaborative Design and Professional Coordination
The renovation process was a collaborative success! While the client came to the table with a clear vision for layout adjustments, our Client Manager was instrumental in refined planning and execution.
Even with the unexpected fire at our shop during the client’s project window, the Dean Cabinetry team maintained the original timeframe, ensuring the couple had a functional kitchen in just three weeks.
We were thrilled to meet that challenge head-on, delivering and installing the cabinetry a full week ahead of schedule.
Modern Style Meets Semi-Custom Quality
For this remodel, we utilized our Designer’s Choice semi-custom cabinetry line, which provided a high-quality, durable foundation for the room’s “organic modern” aesthetic. The client opted for a modern Frameless construction that maximizes storage and accessibility. The clients chose the elegant Sarasota 231 FP door style, finished in a sophisticated Steel Blue paint.
Focus on Precision
Our installer, Jake, earned high marks for his meticulous attention to detail. During the installation, he even identified minor dings that the clients hadn’t noticed, providing thoughtful solutions like custom molding to ensure a perfect finish.
This transformation truly came together with stunning countertops and backsplash from Stone Valley, creating a seamless and sophisticated look.
Organizational Features for Everyday Ease
The highlights of this kitchen are found in the clever organizational features that make daily life easier. The clients particularly love their new specialized spice drawer, the dedicated utensil organizer, and the highly functional tray organizer tucked away above the refrigerator. These details, combined with the professional-grade appliances, transformed a dated room into a bright, efficient culinary hub. The result is a space that is as beautiful as it is practical, giving our clients the perfect environment for years to come.
A Forever Result and a Glowing Referral
The greatest compliment we received was not just the client’s total satisfaction—noting “no complaints whatsoever”—but the fact that she has already referred her daughter to Dean Cabinetry for her own upcoming renovation! It’s a testament to the trust we build with Connecticut families through transparent communication and expert installation.
In this client’s 5-star Google Review, she wrote, “Dean Cabinetry was great to deal with from start to finish. [Our Client Manager] was so nice to work with as she designed our kitchen. The delivery and install team was terrific! Very meticulous with attention to detail. We would highly recommend working with them to design your dream project!”
