We are delighted to present our client’s gorgeous kitchen in Bloomfield, Connecticut. This endeavor has been twenty years in the making for our clients, and we are over the moon for them. They envisioned a space filled with light and warmth, perfect for gatherings with family and friends. Inspiration revolved around the breathtaking arched window, offering a scenic view of their gardens and horse barn. Just imagine sipping your morning coffee while gazing out at that view – what a delightful way to start your day!
This kitchen features Dean Custom Cabinetry, with Shaker frameless full overlay cabinets, painted in Benjamin Moore colors. Wall cabinets feature BM Collector’s Item, along with base cabinets in BM High Park, lending it a bright and airy aura. Custom accessories were added throughout for convenience and accessibility, including an easy-access spice drawer and a pantry with roll-outs for ample storage.
Our clients expressed a passion for incorporating natural wood elements into the design, resulting in some striking features. The island showcases a beautifully crafted hickory countertop from Parkerville Wood Products adding warmth and texture. Having fallen in love with the four drawer base cabinets for their island, our clients have ample and easy access to those heavy cast iron pans!
The custom hickory hood further enhances the rustic charm and complements the modern designs of the GE Cafe Appliances and Induction cooktop. It’s the textured details that tie it all together; from the variegated white subway tile backsplash to the Kohler Whitehaven Farmhouse sink and the beautiful black pendant lights.
