After living in their Cromwell, CT home for more than 30 years, these homeowners knew it was time to invest in a long-overdue kitchen renovation. While the layout still worked well for their day-to-day routines, the aging cabinetry and worn finishes didn’t reflect the care and love they had poured into the rest of their home.
They wanted a refreshed, timeless kitchen—something that would carry them comfortably into the next chapter in their forever home. That’s where Dean Cabinetry stepped in.
From the first showroom visit with Leah, the homeowners felt right at home. They were welcomed by a friendly, down-to-earth team—including a wagging tail from Oakley. They appreciated the relaxed, informative environment.
The Dean Cabinetry team guided them through the showroom space, showcasing cabinet options and answering questions, with patience and clarity. Once they decided to move forward, their designer, Cara, worked to bring the vision to life. From accurate measurements to a tidy and respectful job site with our installer Shawn, every detail was handled with professionalism and care.
The homeowners were especially impressed with how smooth the entire process was. Every question was answered promptly, and communication throughout the project helped them feel confident at each stage. The team’s attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship were evident in the final result.
The new kitchen features Dean Cabinetry’s Custom Inset Cabinets and Pantry, painted in Sherwin Williams 7036 “Accessible Beige”—a warm, neutral tone that adds subtle elegance to the space and matches their hard wood floors beautifully.
One of the most noticeable upgrades is the enlarged island, offering more prep space, storage, and seating for casual meals or family gatherings. While the overall layout remained the same, refinements like these made a big impact. Now, the kitchen feels more open and functional without sacrificing comfort or familiarity.
Now, their refreshed kitchen blends seamlessly into the character of their home—bright, welcoming, and built to last. It’s a space that not only looks beautiful but also functions perfectly for the way they live.
