The main workspace features timeless Shaker cabinets painted to match Benjamin Moore White Dove.
To ground the bright space, a massive Rift Sawn White Oak island with a Clear Poly finish takes center stage. The clear finish highlights the natural grain of the wood and adds an organic warmth to the Connecticut home. This show-stopping island has quickly become the ultimate gathering spot where the family hangs out, preps meals, and utilizes the deep, smart drawer storage.
The kitchen layout was engineered around a specific, high-performance appliance package to ensure function. A stainless steel Samsung side-by-side refrigerator anchors the space, while a professional-grade ZLINE gas range serves as the cooking station’s centerpiece. Directly above, a ZLINE hood insert is hidden inside the custom hood. To maximize usable counter space, a ZLINE microwave is integrated directly into the cabinet bank.

The final outcome completely transformed how this family utilizes their space. Beyond the main kitchen, a custom walk-in pantry features matching white Shaker base cabinets that seamlessly expand the home’s storage.
