When this West Hartford, Connecticut family started planning a home addition, they knew it was the perfect chance to add both function and flair. With two young kids and a busy lifestyle, they needed more organized storage and stylish spaces to match their forever home vision.
A Referral That Led to the Right Fit
Their trusted contractor, Oxford Builders, recommended Dean Cabinetry. From there, the collaboration took off.
The family needed cabinetry for several key spaces: their mudroom, walk-in pantry, wet bar, laundry room, and two bathrooms. While they had recently renovated their kitchen, they already told us they’d be back to Dean Cabinetry when their kids are older and ready for the next update!
Thoughtful Design with Every Detail
Dean Cabinetry helped them explore options from two of our product levels—custom and stock. The result? A mix that met their budget and style goals. The laundry room uses Fabuwood cabinetry. The bathrooms feature Designer’s Choice vanities. For the mudroom, pantry, and wet bar, they went fully custom to ensure a seamless fit.
Installer Joe paid close attention to the family’s needs. He made thoughtful changes on-site, like adjusting the cubby height in the mudroom so the kids could reach their hooks and shelves. He also ensured every cabinet door and drawer opened in the right direction for daily use.
The Final Result
The family now has so much extra space to fill—and they’re thrilled. The project came together smoothly thanks to a shared vision and strong collaboration. As the client shared in their Google review, “The staff was super helpful from start to finish in designing and working closely with us to get the final product we needed.”
